Essential job duties include:
- Assist with pre-run tasks such as gathering trays
- Rotate product
- Safely operate equipment such as feeding trays into washer, loading and changing bags and quick locks, and other equipment
- Communicate with leadership effectively, such as reporting equipment problems immediately
- Place packaged product into trays while ensuring product is properly nestled in the package
- Visually differentiate packages that do not meet standards and repack them appropriately
- Maintain a clean work area and empty trash as needed
- Assist with maintaining equipment such as oiling dolly wheels and removing bad dollies and trays from circulation
- Communicate with other areas of production and with other departments
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitary policies, procedures and processes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable Transportation
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Dependable
- Adaptable to change
- Follow GMP’s
- Knowledgeable in Food Safety & Food Defense
Physical requirements:
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to stoop and bend frequently
- Eye/hand coordination
- Pushing/pulling up to 300 lbs frequently
- Pushing/pulling up to 600 lbs occassionally
- Lifting up to 25 lbs frequently above to shoulder height and above
- Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in hot or cold environments
