Sanitation Technician

Job Description:

Sanitation crew member’s responsibilities is to efficiently and thoroughly clean and sanitize the Bakery according to food safety standards. In this position you will be exposed to Wheat, flour, soy oil and other allergens.

Job Duties

Understand and follow cleaning and sanitation tasks as instructed and assigned

Ensure correct chemicals are used

With instruction from sanitation supervisor, complete cleaning assignments which may included, production, freezer, outside perimeter, confined space, ect

Prepare Machines for Allergen cleaning using a checklist that is verified every process

Perform all tasks as assigned to protect food and not create or cause disruption, damage, or contamination to food, equipment, or the facility.

Ability to read and write in order to complete required documentation accurately and on-time.

Be familiar with Allergens

Not afraid to climb ladders (20+ feet)

Able to be in confined spaces

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School or equivalent

Attention to detail a must

Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently, bending, crouching and standing thru out the day

Read and write English

Knowledgeable in Food Safety & Food Defense
